How To Repair Lawn Mower Blade Bolt

I lost bolt to mower blade, how exercise I replace it?
When I went to tune up my mower, I outset took off the blade to have it sharpened, then went to work on the carbeurator...when I went to put the bract dorsum on, the bolt was missing from where I placed it. How do I replace it?

Go back to the place that y'all removed the bolt and look for information technology. Gremlins mainly deal with airplanes and exercise not carp stealing bolts from backyard mowers.

It might be easiest to become to a lawnmower repair shop and tell them what model of mower you have and what bolt y'all lost. They should be able to mitt you a new 1 for a few dollars. If there is just one bolt as is frequently the case, it is likely a left-hand thread, and not what you are probable to discover in the hardware section of Walmart.

You didn't by chance screw the bolt into where it came from to preclude losing information technology, did yous? ;)

that particular bolt is not on any "parts list" for the mower that I accept...the "parts listing" merely relates to the engine components. And, no, I did not screw it dorsum into where information technology goes...I placed it on the trunk and covered it with a tarp to prevent the "gremlins" from playing around information technology, which, apparently, did non work...
